| With financial assistance from the Vancouver Rotary Club in Canada and
the Kyoto Joyo Rotary Club, and with the cooperation of students of the
Interact Club in the green zone civil engineering course of Iwaki Agricultural
High School, the Iwaki Nakoso Rotary Club planted 100 Someiyoshino cherry
tree saplings in the school grounds, thus contributing to the restoration
of cherry tree scenery, the symbol of the town. After the planting, the
trees will be looked after by students in the school's horticultural course. |
